"The music is all around us, all you have to do is listen."
Those are the words from the lips of a small boy, August Rush. One of the most touching movies I ever seen. The film, I don't mind watching over and over again, on a long winter's night. The one that makes me believe in magic. The reminder of being a part of ...
"You know what music is? God's little reminder that there's something else besides us in this universe, a harmonic connection between all living beings, every where, even the stars."
(August Rush, 2007)
Do you see the music?

My favorite treat for these special days was Gingerbread Man. Always! While looking for the right flavors and nice colors, I got a visit from another Gingerbread Man, straight from the spicy forest! Maybe he's not so crunchy, but still he is very sweet :)
Did you get any special visitors?

I used to draw. A lot... Especially at school, while studying . All my notebooks from the end where filled up with pictures. My parents been called to school many times to talk about it. But they couldn't do anything, because I was a good student. So it continued... Until I stopped.
It's been a long time since I had a pencil in my hands, maybe too long. I never learned how to do it "properly", never wanted to study it more , never been told that I have a special gift for art. I was just being "creative", nothing more. But I LOVED it! The feeling when you have a clean paper in front of you, and hand just starts to move, leaving some lines without thinking, that later turns (or not!) into some forms and shapes... The feeling of not thinking, fighting or trying, just following... Strange, but lately I start getting that feeling back. While talking on the phone, or just having some piece of paper next to me...
I don't think that I will be an artist. Even the word scares me! It sounds like obligation, that's why. So I will continue following my life, wherever it will take me...
Well, it's not a secret anymore. Do you dare to share your secrets?

Sometimes we have to try, even if we don't know how to. This was the Wedding invitation, and my task was to make a Wedding ring cushion. In cross-stitch! With the same letters... The search didn't bring out any Edwardian style monogram, so my head started to explode - what should I do? Then I took a photo of the wanted letters. After very long staring it came to my mind to lay them down to the squared sheet.
But there was a problem - the lines were too thin and were not fitting exactly the squares. After some adjusting on the computer it turned out like that:
Maybe it was not the same delicate lines exactly, but with the help of a pencil and a little bit of patience at last was possible to make the cross-stitch.
After all, like in each love story, there was a happy end. :)
